What We Offer

  • We Offer A Christian Environment …

Our 228 acres provide lots of room for kids and adults to eat, sleep, learn, play, and pray with dedicated Christian adults. The following types of camp are available. Call us at at 217-935-3809 if you have any questions or email us at lgca@juno.com .

Main Camp is located on rolling hills. Main Camp has five air conditioned Cabins housing up to 180 campers and faculty. Creative and imaginative themes dominate each week of camp with scheduled chapel, Bible lessons, recreation, Missions, Camp Store breaks, Campfire and much more each day. If you like to be with a large group of campers, with indoor showers and toilet facilities, electrical outlets and meals eaten in a Dining Hall, then Main Camp is for you.

Main Overnight and Day Camps are an abbreviated stay for those not quite old enough and ready to be away from home for an extended period of time. Although scheduled to meet the needs for each age group, the daily schedule is similar to the full Main Camp programs.

Wilderness Camp is located in the middle of the woods. Two hogans house 11 boys, 11 girls and four faculty in a semi-primitive camp program. Morning devotions begin each day and “kid friendly” games end each evening. In between time is filled with studying God’s Word and fun outdoor activities. If you enjoy a smaller group and a more rustic setting where you are close to nature, then Wilderness camp is where you want to be!

Outpost Camp is pitched on a secluded ridge. Two authentic 20 foot high teepees shelter 6 boys, 6 girls, and 4 faculty. All cooking is done over an open campfire. Wake up to the sounds of creation, with sunshine streaming through your teepee This camp is truly an intimate experience with God’s creation for those who love to rough it!
